Day 1Nairobi - Nyeri - Ark Tree Lodge
Drive through the breath taking view of the Central Highlands .We arrive at the Ark in time for lunch at the Aberdare Country Club. proceed after lunch to the ark This attractive lodge sits on the side of a hill and enjoys great views of Mt. Kenya. The Ark Tree Lodge is built in the shape of Noah's biblical ark and this is where you spend the night enjoying the wildlife that comes to drink and eat the salt by the floodlit watering hole.Its water holes visited regularly by buffalo, elephant, wart hog, bush pig, a variety of antelope and occasionally lion and other large animals.The evening is spent on the open air verandas or in the public areas, watching the animals and birds as they come to drink. Dinner is served in the dining room. Occasional wake up calls at night when a particular animal, such as rhino, Lion etc visits the water hole, that can be done.

In the morning you enjoy breakfast. The rest of the day will be at leisure.The Aberdare national park offers various activities including: Horseback Riding, Golf, Bird Watching, Sundowner, Nature Walk, Champagne Breakfast, Bush Culinary Experience, Hiking, Chimpanzee Trekking, Safari Drive to the following reserves Solio Game Reserve and Aberdare Game Sanctuary.The game sanctuary is suitable for walking and you may see giraffe, several species of antelope or zebra as you explore, in sight of the distant peaks of Mt. Kenya. all these on request and at an extra charge.
Lunch and dinner are included and the cottages at this attractive lodge.

Day 3: Ark - Drive to Nairobi
After breakfast, you leave the lodge then head for your destination.
- Departures are daily and based on per person sharing rate( min 2 pax) and on self Drive. Transport can be organized on request. A person staying in a single room pays a single room supplement.
- Park Entrance Fees are to be paid at KWS station near Mweiga Town. Children Under 7 are not allowed at the Ark.

This rate is based on self Drive and applies to a minimum of 2 pax sharing. A person staying in a single room pays an additional supplement. Pay online using the payment gateway or offline through cash/ mpesa or come to our offices. Rooms are subject toavailability at the time of booking
- For bookings cancelled or reduced in numbers between 34 and 15 days from the date of arrival, 50% of the contract rate will be charged
- For bookings cancelled or reduced in numbers between 15 and 08 days from the date of arrival, 75% of the contract rate will be charged
- In the case of cancellation within 7 days of the date of arrival, or in the case of ‘No show’, 100% of the value of the booking will be charge

About the Place
The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Resembling and named after Noah’s Ark, The Ark comprises of three decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen. So that you don’t miss any animal sightings, the night guard will buzz your room .There is also a ground level bunker – the perfect hideout for the discerning photographer. This is a circular pillbox-like structure, and it is from this vantage point that pictures of animals on the salt lick only yards away may be taken through the view holes in complete safety.hen special animals come to the waterhole. The Ark has four viewing areas for observing the ever-present animal activity. The Aberdare National Park covers the higher areas of the Aberdare Mountain Range of central Kenya and the Aberdare Salient to their east. Rhino Ark is a charity devoted to the protection of this critical habitat area.
