Depart Nairobi and drive via the Nairobi Nyeri Highway enjoy the scenic views along the way, then proceed to the luxurious Tafaria Castle Lodge on Nyeri Nyahururu highway, arrive in time for a sumptuous lunch, the rest of the afternoon will be at leisure as you enjoy the Tafaria Artistic Environment. You will later have Dinner and then can choose to warm yourself on the fireplace as you enjoy a cold or hot drink. Overnight at the Tafaria CAstle.

On this day you will have an early breakfast, you can then choose to enjoy fun filled activities at the lodge, ranging from Cycling, outdoor gym, pool table, badminton, play station 4, chess, yoga, ball games, big screen movies, scrabble, Kids kingdom (slides, swings, seesaw, trampoline, bouncing castle), bird watching at Nano conservancy.Check out from room is 10am but you can hang around the hotel and even order lunch at an extra cost. Later depart and head back to your destination

Payment Policy

A 50% deposit is payable on confirmation of booking and the balance is due before the date of check in. Bookings not secured by the appropriate deposit will be released automatically and without prior notification.

Cancellation Policy

For bookings cancelled or reduced in numbers between 34 and 15 days from the date of arrival, 50% of the contract rate will be charged

For bookings cancelled or reduced in numbers between 15 and 08 days from the date of arrival, 75% of the contract rate will be charged

In the case of cancellation within 7 days of the date of arrival, or in the case of ‘No show’, 100% of the value of the booking will be charge

About the Place

Tafaria Castle County Lodge and Conference Center located on a hill halfway between Nyeri and Nyahururu next to the Aberdare Ranges overlooking the Laikipia plains. The Castle building houses the main reception, the Ballroom used for dining, the Moat bar, the Dungeon with a disco and big screen cinema, the Bailey coffee lounge the Lord’s room and the Lord’s court. It is surrounded by the swimming pool, the Tennis court, the open-air Roman type amphitheater, the conference center, horse stables and various accommodation rooms.
