Itinerary Highlights

Day 1Nairobi-Mombasa-Shanzu.

Depart from the Nairobi Terminus via SGR Madaraka Express as per the ticket timings. Travel Through the scenic and serene environment with the view of diverse vegetation and forest cover and also view the game as you pass through the Tsavo National Park. Arrive at the Mombasa Terminus where you will be met by our driver for a transfer to Mombasa Continental Resort. Arrive at your hotel, check in, have lunch and the afternoon at the Beach till late in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at the resort.

Day 2Full Day Relaxation and Exploration.

After an early breakfast, you may opt to visit the Mombasa Old town and view the archaic architecture of the buildings, Fort Jesus, now converted into a museum, is just a walking distance from the Old town(entrance fee is required) proceed to learn about the Swahili Culture. Spend the afternoon at the Beach or at the spectacular Mombasa Marine National Park, view the aquatic Marine life up close, Fish Galore and the Turtle and Dolphin territory till late in the evening.Lunch, Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 3Shanzu-Mombasa-Nairobi.

Early breakfast then head to the shores of the beach for one last feel of the sandy beach, watch as the water rises in the horizon, capture the moment with lots of photos to take with you. Depart for the SGR terminus in time for your return train to Nairobi Terminus.

  • A person traveling alone attracts a single room supplement.

  • Train tickets are based on Economy Class. for 1st class add Kshs. 4,300 per person.

Payment Policy

A 50% deposit is payable on confirmation of booking and the balance is due before the date of check in.

Bookings not secured by the appropriate deposit will be released automatically and without prior notification.

Cancellation Policy

  • For bookings cancelled or reduced in numbers between 34 and 15 days from the date of arrival, 50% of the contract rate will be charged.
  • For bookings cancelled or reduced in numbers between 15 and 08 days from the date of arrival, 75% of the contract rate will be charged.
  • In the case of cancellation within 7 days of the date of arrival, or in the case of ‘No show’, 100% of the value of the booking will be charged.
